Despite the bad weather our clients Telford Mann Chartered Financial Planners and Discretionary Investment Managers arranged an open day for their newly completed offices and we were delighted to be invited so see the project along with staff and clients. Leaf Architecture designed both the main 3 storey office (9,386 sq ft) along with the 2 storey well being centre for staff (5,026 sq ft) at the Kettering Business Park in Northamptonshire. The use of ironstone within the buildings external facing material and landscaped gardens creates a strong connection with the historic local vernacular.
The building has been designed to be highly energy efficient, making use of passive solar design and the large format windows promotes high levels of light to the large open plan office spaces.
