The aim of this project was to utilise an old flat roof garage adjacent to the house where optimal views of the garden could be utilised and by added a vaulted pitched roof and single storey extension we created a dramatic sense of occasion and connection to the garden. Whilst the large rear glazed gable gave wide and tall views of the garden and tree canopies the architectural materials were chosen to compliment the period of the house.
