Since being appointed by the private domestic client last year, we successfully gained planning permission and listed building consent for a striking kitchen and garden room extension in air dried oak, standing seam zinc roof and frameless glass supplied by IQ Glass of London. Following a successful tender process the project was awarded to a local contractor with working knowledge of oak structures and as can been seen from the photograph the steel and oak super structure is basically completed awaiting glass installation and for the first time we can experience how day light will pass through the 11 meter long roof light and sides, we’ll keep you posted with progress.
