Working closely with our clients, the brief was to design a contemporary new dwelling on the site of a former builders yard in an urban setting on the edge of the conservation area inspired by an interpretation of the semi-industrial existing buildings and materials together with the local vernacular to create a dwelling which appears larger from within the site and optimises daylight penetration and privacy.
