Having worked in this village previously we were appointed again to help the owners of a dated property on a fantastic south facing plot to turn a rather uninspiring mid 20th century bungalow into a modern yet sympathetic house within this traditional conservation area. The concept was to retain much of the main bungalow walls, open the rear spaces and run a new first floor front to rear on on side creating 3 large double bedrooms resulting in a new feature gable. The materials proposed are oak cladding (to silver over time), lime coloured render and local limestone with slate roof.
