Leaf Architecture have been working with a local developer over several months to develop a master-plan scheme for the Billesdon Neighbourhood Development Plan and our scheme has received support by the village through the early consultation stages and was presented to the village last week at the outset of a six week ‘pre-submission’ consultation. The proposals consist of 12 units sensitively distributed along a challenging site in the village and provides for a mix of 2 ‘barn-style’ family dwellings, 4 affordable houses, 3 dormer style properties and 3 code 5 eco-houses with retained public open space. Leaf’s scheme is one of two proposals favoured and following submission to the local authority and if subsequently passed by an independent examiner and passed by a parish council referendum would become part of the local planning framework for the village until 2028, so we continue to watch this with interest…
