Leaf was asked to develop designs for a small 2/3 bedroom energy efficient house on a challenging site in north Leicestershire on an island between a river and a canal with the added challenge of being in a flood risk zone. The current design is still under review and we are working hard with the client and project QS Graham Clarkson Associates to work to a tight build budget which the current design utilises an off site SIP panel system build, PVC Plastisol coating galvanised corrugated roof, Siberian Larch cladding and a south facing alcove veranda to maximise views as well as provide useful solar shading.
