It has been a pleasure not only to be a member of Market Harborough Lawn Tennis Club for the last 7 years but also involved with the design and procurement of the new tennis clubhouse which was officially opened on Sunday 27th June 2021. The former clubhouse was a tiny timber scout hut sized building although with much charm and loved by the club but with growing members, we needed a new modern clubhouse and after many many years of hard work and fundraising by the club, Leaf Architecture developed a design which optimise the triangular-shaped site and at its heart had a large gathering hall space with kitchen, WC and changing facilities with a large covered veranda facing the courtside.
